I often think of my father when I work on files. He hated systems that decide in place of people. He hated official phrases. He hated organised fear.
I do not compare our era to his. That would be too simple and dishonest. But I know one thing: power does not always need to show itself. Sometimes it is enough that people sense it for it to be effective.
That is what troubles me about the DarX trail. I do not know if they truly exist. I only know that several people lower their voices and look away when I say that name.
